OIC Training Academy

Hello, my name is Charles Thurston-Snoha, and I am OIC Training Academy’s Employment Specialist. As the Employment Specialist, I am responsible for teaching the Professional Development class, setting up student externships, and assisting students with anything career/ job related. During the Professional Development class, I work with students on interviewing, professional attire, job searches, and the development of a professional portfolio, which includes resumes, references, cover letters, and thank you letters. Once the class if over and the students are placed into their externships, my focus shifts from the teaching phase to the job placement aspect of my job. I work closely with students in regards to independent job searches, sending out resumes, and providing any support and assistance a student may need in reference to their own specific career goals.
